Star couple dispute: Both file complaints with the police.

A dispute has erupted between renowned international female boxer Saviti Bura and former Indian kabaddi player Deepak Hooda, both of whom are prominent athletes. As the conflict escalated, both of them filed complaints with the police. Saviti Bura filed a complaint against her husband, Deepak Hooda, alleging domestic violence and dowry harassment at the Hisar police station in Haryana.

Allegations of Dowry Harassment:
She accused Deepak Hooda of pressuring her to bring an SUV car and ₹1 crore in cash.
Obstruction to Boxing Career: She claimed that her husband pressured her to quit boxing and obstructed her practice sessions.
Domestic Violence: She mentioned that a severe altercation occurred last October, after which she was forced to leave their home.
Following her complaint, an FIR was filed against Deepak Hooda under several sections of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) as per Saviti’s allegations.

Deepak Hooda's Allegations:
On the other hand, Deepak Hooda filed a complaint at the Rohtak police station, accusing his wife, Saviti Bura’s family of financial fraud and threats.

Allegations of Property Encroachment: He alleged that Saviti Bura's family had illegally taken over his property.
Threats: He also claimed that he had been threatened with severe consequences.
Family Disputes: He mentioned that the family disputes had been escalating for some time, and he hinted at the initiation of divorce proceedings. Deepak Hooda and Saviti Bura were married on July 7, 2022.
Their marriage, however, saw conflicts arise just a few months after, with Deepak Hooda being a former captain of the Indian kabaddi team.
Saviti Bura won the gold medal in the 2023 World Boxing Championship.

Awards:
Deepak Hooda received the Arjuna Award in 2020, and Saviti Bura was honored with the Arjuna Award in January 2024.
The police investigation is ongoing, and since both have filed complaints, further action will be taken following the inquiry. There are signals indicating that divorce proceedings may be in the works.
