Another case registered against Vallabhaneni Vamsi.

Amaravati: YSRCP leader and former MLA Vallabhaneni Vamsi's unlawful activities and misdeeds are coming to light one after another. Victims who had been living in fear for the past five years are now turning to the police for help. Already, three cases have been registered in several police stations in the Gannavaram constituency, and recently, another case has been filed.

In Marlapalem, a village near Gannavaram, there is an 18-acre pond. Around 15 villagers have been cultivating a part of this pond for the past 40 years.

In 2023, then MLA Vallabhaneni Vamsi, along with his supporters, pressured farmers to vacate their lands under the pretext of development. After that, they took control of the land, claiming they would develop the pond for public use, and proceeded with illegal soil excavation, selling the land. Initially, they promised to provide alternative land to the farmers but later deceived them.

On this matter, Jasti Murali Krishna from Marlapalem village approached the Gannavaram police on Tuesday night. Based on his complaint, a case was filed with Vallabhaneni Vamsi as the prime accused (A1), along with his associates Anagani Ravi (A2), Ranga (A3), Seshu (A4), and Mechineni Babu (A5).
